Phew!

Quite a weekend! It has taken me as long as the show to get over doing the show.

First, the show report: the combination of a new location and all the scary economic news did not make for a stellar show. Sales were down for all the artists (sad). But there was a good proportion of repeat customers (happy) and customers carrying their previously-bought bags (happy happy).

And they gave me some lovely compliments about the bags. It's such a thrill to see people using and loving their Red Delicious bags and all the things inside: card holders, coin purses, cosmetics purses. You like showing me as much as I like to see!

So you win some, you lose some. A fun show, poor traffic. This is such a popular show with Seattle-area art and crafts lovers I expect it will see more people as they become aware of the location. I'll be back there in fall for sure, and am already looking forward to it.
